All Kidding Aside (2009-present)

¨       Manage a sculpture/design company with diverse projects such as sculpting parade floats for the Toronto Santa Claus Parade; Teaching stop motion animation to children aged 9-11 for the Milton centre for the arts; teaching art to students (7-13yrs) in a school setting for the Toronto District School Board and Elevated Grounds; sculpting/designing P.O.P. window displays for Alliance Atlantis and local Toronto businesses; refurbishing and rebuilding the G20 “Big Heads” for OXFAM Canada (which drew international media attention); and, designing/ building/sculpting a multitude of costumes, stop-motion puppets and figurines.

Cuppa Coffee Animation (2007-2008)

For the “Nerdland” Television Series Pilot

¨       Created a television series proposal which was optioned by Cuppa Coffee and produced for Teletoon

¨       The pilot show was one of five finalists for "Best New Pilot" at the 2009 Pulcinella Awards, television animation’s premiere international competition, and nominated for "Best Series" at the 2009 Annecy Awards (the ‘Cannes of Animation’)

For the “Nerdland” Pitch Package

¨       Conceptualization and verbal/written proposal pitching of a television series to management

¨       Creative consulting, art direction, character, prop and set design for animated trailer for MIPCOM broadcast convention

¨       Worked closely with crew of builders, effects artists and animators to develop pilot to the highest possible standards within a limited budget

For the “Nerdland Pilot” (green lit for 2009 broadcast on Teletoon)

¨       Worked with writers to develop the script for broadcast, answerable to CTF, broadcaster and producers

¨       Consulted in all areas of production of the pilot including developing the look of the show with producers and broadcaster; participated in casting sessions, sound design sessions, etc.

¨       Designed characters and prototype sculpts; oversaw staff in puppet builds and set/prop design
